Z is tired.
He is supposed to be just another faceless office worker who moved to the big city, a place that feels slightly off, but pays the bills. Then a voice finds him in his dreams. A god, imprisoned somewhere beneath reality, whispering a promise:
“Free me, and I’ll give you what you truly desire.”
Z tries to ignore it. Until a concert splits open into something impossible.
Reality tears. People vanish. And Z survives an encounter he should not have.
Thrown into a hidden game already in motion, he discovers other players have been chosen, and they are not all on the same side.
A mysterious woman named Yvy seems to know more than she lets on. A bass player from a local band begins taking an unsettling interest in him. Strange hands offer guidance. And something ancient watches from behind the cracks of the world, as if the city itself were a board game.
Z never wanted to matter.
Now he is staring into a mystery that should have stayed buried.
