When Brian Sunday has a tragic encounter with an evil murderer, his out-of-body experience brings him to the mysterious and abstract world of the Ascendants. With terror and confusion at every turn, Brian looks to Owl for help. Snake, on the other hand, wants Brian’s soul just as bad, and is willing to corrupt and kill for it.
