However, the gangsters uncovered his plot and sentenced him to death. Darwin narrowly escaped their clutches by using his teleportation suit. But he ended up stranded on a rogue planetoid in uncharted space instead. In his final moments, Darwin received a transmission from another universe. A dark entity offered him a chance at revenge in exchange for his services. He accepted without a second thought, setting the stage for the Exoverse’s invasion of Earth.
