Two celestial beings, Dav and the Id, are forged from the grief and loneliness of their all-powerful creator, Gord-One. Though granted unfettered access to time and space, they become fixated on a peculiar era: Earth, 1985–1999—when, they believe, human creativity reached its zenith. But when the Id falls under the sway of forbidden dark matter, his hunger for power overwhelms him. He murders Gord-One, casts Dav into exile… and sends him hurtling to the ends of the earth: Pontypridd.
