In the time of flourishing renaissance, some impacts of the blight of the evil masks still seem to linger in the shadows of the city of Venice, now one of the great centres of artistry in Europe.
Giorgio Vasari, a visiting art critic and artist from Florence, notices a strange similarity in the recent artworks of many great Venetian painters and suspects a wide network of forgeries. Taking it upon himself to investigate the matter, all the threads of mystery seem to lead him into a newly founded gallery, where more than simple artwork seems to be brewed under the wing of a mysterious art benefactor.
