Owl is an exploration into the existential dichotomies of human life.
Just as there are symbols to help guide us when we dream, so too are there special beings, called Ascendants, which help us cross over when we die. Owl, the Ascendant love, and Snake, the Ascendant fear, compete for people’s soul.
When Brian Sunday has a tragic encounter with an evil murderer, his out-of-body experience brings him to the mysterious and abstract world of the Ascendants. With terror and confusion at every turn, Brian looks to Owl for help. Snake, on the other hand, wants Brian’s soul just as bad, and is willing to corrupt and kill for it.
